The photographer doesn’t have to disappear.
I’ve never believed that the best wedding photographs are made by a photographer who tries to become invisible.
Some images happen when I step back and simply observe.
Others happen because I am there — because I ask you to stop for a moment, to look at each other, to move, to breathe, to be aware of the space you are sharing.
For me, a portrait is not something I take from you.
It is something we create together.
It requires your trust, your presence, and my ability to know when to guide and when to let go.
The result is not a perfectly posed image, nor a completely accidental one.
It is a conscious portrait, created by two sides who are present in the same moment.
And perhaps that is what makes it feel real.

Some celebrations are made of contrasts — the beauty of what is carefully created, and the life that fills it.

This extraordinary setting was brought to life by Lori Campana and her team, together with the talented florists who transformed every detail into a world of candlelight, texture and timeless elegance.

But perhaps the most beautiful part of it all is what cannot be designed.

The people.

The laughter, the conversations, the gestures, the movement around the table.
Because no matter how beautiful the setting, it is the people who give it life.

And in the end, they are the finishing touch.

Photographing this night in Puglia was a true privilege.

I’ve never been interested in photographing perfect weddings.
I’m interested in photographing people.
Their character.
Their relationships.
The gestures that make them unmistakably themselves.
That’s the quiet beauty of a micro wedding: with fewer distractions, people become the story.
The value of a photograph isn’t in what it shows. It’s in what it preserves.
Years from now, you won’t remember every detail of your wedding day. You’ll remember the way your father looked at you while adjusting your tie, the embrace that said everything without words, and the quiet confidence before walking down the aisle.
Because long after the flowers have faded and the music has stopped, it’s the people—and who they were—that remain.

They flew all the way from USA and Vietnam to celebrate their wedding in Puglia with just 13 guests.

A day filled with meaningful moments, incredible food, lots of laughter, and the kind of atmosphere you can only create when you’re surrounded by the people you love most.

From the historic corners of Masseria Spina to dinner under the lights, every part of the day felt relaxed, genuine, and completely them.
