È stato un viaggio.
Un bellissimo viaggio.

Non poteva che essere così, ovviamente.
Un viaggio di condivisione prima di tutto, che mi ha permesso di conoscere persone straordinarie, piene di talento, che come me vivono la fotografia in modo puro: senza invidie, senza competizione, senza gelosie tossiche. Solo passione, confronto e rispetto. E questo, oggi, vale tantissimo.

Voglio ringraziare tutte le persone che sono venute alla mostra IL MONDO È ANCORA BELLO, dall’inaugurazione fino all’ultimo giorno.
Mi ha scaldato il cuore vedere quanto vi siate avvicinati al messaggio, quanto abbiate compreso e apprezzato il mio modo di intendere la fotografia e il viaggio: non come consumo, ma come ascolto, osservazione ed esperienza umana.

Avrei potuto scegliere tante foto da condividere qui.
Invece, oltre quelle di gruppo con tutti voi, ho scelto questa qui: la stanza vuota, con le immagini già appese.
È uno scatto “dietro le quinte”, fatto quando la mostra non era ancora aperta, quando tutto era pronto ma mancava ancora l’abbraccio delle persone.
Per me rappresenta qualcosa di molto intimo: è come guardare un figlio prima che inizi il suo cammino, sapendo quanto lavoro, quanta cura e con quanto amore lo hai svezzato.

Questa mostra mi rimarrà dentro a lungo.
Grazie a chi è passato, a chi si è fermato, a chi ha parlato con me, a chi ha semplicemente osservato in silenzio.

Un grazie speciale va all’amico e Maestro Pino di Lecce: per me è stato un onore tornare a stampare le mie fotografie presso Bottega FineArt e poter utilizzare il tuo spazio come luogo di dialogo e condivisione.

Un grazie enorme va a Rossella Mazzotta, che con la sua sensibilità, classe ed eleganza ha accompagnato il pubblico dentro la mostra, rendendo il messaggio più chiaro, più vicino, più umano.

Dal profondo del mio cuore GRAZIE DAVVERO.
Il mondo è ancora bello, soprattutto quando viene condiviso.

📍Ilheus da Ribeira da Janela, Madeira, Portugal 🇵🇹🌍
At first glance, this image might seem calm and meditative, but reality was quite the opposite.
I woke up at 5:30 AM and drove for an hour through the dark, winding roads of Madeira to reach this spot in time for sunrise.
When I arrived, the ocean was furious: waves were crashing just a meter from me, preventing me from getting any closer.
The roar itself was terrifying, and every second I feared one of those waves might sweep away my camera and tripod.
I was also a bit unlucky with the clouds as they blocked the sun from rising above the water, hiding that magical first burst.
But then, just for a moment, a blade of golden light cut across the rocks. A fleeting wonder witnessed only by a few soaked and silent travelers, wrapped in rain jackets and awe.
A prima vista questa immagine può sembrare calma e contemplativa, ma la realtà era ben diversa.
Mi sono svegliato alle 5:30 e ho guidato per un’ora attraverso le strade buie e tortuose di Madeira per arrivare in tempo all’alba.
Quando sono arrivato, l’oceano era furioso: onde si infrangevano a meno di un metro da me, impedendomi di avvicinarmi.
Il frastuono stesso era spaventoso, e in ogni momento ho temuto che una di quelle onde potesse portare via la macchina e il treppiede.
Sono anche stato poco fortunato con le nuvole, che hanno coperto il sole impedendomi di vederlo nascere dall’acqua come speravo.
Ma poi, per un istante, una lama di luce dorata ha attraversato le rocce. Un attimo fuggente, condiviso solo con pochi viaggiatori infreddoliti e silenziosi, avvolti nei loro k-way e nella meraviglia.

This stunning piece of modern engineering stands proudly in the heart of the UAE, offering breathtaking views of the cityscape. My solo photographic journey through the UAE brought me to this iconic bridge, where technology and design merge into a perfect blend of art. The dynamic curves of the Meydan Bridge are not just a sight to behold but a symbol of Dubai's innovative spirit.
Esplorando la meraviglia architettonica di Dubai, il Meydan Bridge, conosciuto anche come il Tik Tok Bridge. Questa straordinaria opera di ingegneria moderna si erge con orgoglio nel cuore degli EAU, offrendo panorami mozzafiato sulla città. Il mio viaggio fotografico in solitaria attraverso gli Emirati mi ha portato a questo ponte iconico, dove la tecnologia e il design si fondono in un perfetto connubio d'arte. Le curve dinamiche del Meydan Bridge non sono solo uno spettacolo da ammirare, ma un simbolo dello spirito innovativo di Dubai

Captured during my latest photography journey in Dubai, this shot showcases the stunning Museum of the Future against the backdrop of the city’s iconic skyscrapers in Downtown. With the perfect architectural reflection, I was able to highlight the seamless blend of innovation and modernity that defines the UAE’s skyline. The Museum of the Future stands as a symbol of what lies ahead, while the surrounding city represents the present's cutting-edge achievements. A glimpse into the future, right in the heart of Dubai!
Scattata durante il mio ultimo viaggio fotografico a Dubai, questa foto cattura il magnifico Museum of the Future con sullo sfondo gli iconici grattacieli di Downtown. Grazie al riflesso perfetto, ho potuto esprimere al meglio la fusione tra innovazione e modernità che caratterizza lo skyline degli Emirati. Il Museum of the Future è simbolo di ciò che ci aspetta, mentre la città circostante rappresenta i risultati straordinari del presente. Un vero e proprio sguardo sul futuro, nel cuore di Dubai!

📍Heroes' Square, Budapest 🌍🇭🇺
During my photographic journey in Budapest, I stumbled upon a breathtaking scene: Archangel Gabriel, proud and motionless, standing against a fiery sky, as if banishing the darkness with his cross. In that moment, the city seemed to whisper an ancient tale of eternal battles between light and shadow. A fleeting moment, frozen in time through my lens.
Durante il mio viaggio fotografico a Budapest, mi sono imbattuto in una scena mozzafiato: l’arcangelo Gabriele, fiero e immobile, si staglia contro un cielo in fiamme, come se stesse scacciando le tenebre con la sua croce. In quel momento, la città sembrava raccontarmi una storia antica, fatta di battaglie eterne tra luce e oscurità. Un attimo sospeso nel tempo, catturato attraverso il mio obiettivo.

📍Urros de Liencres, Cantabria, Spain 🇪🇸🌍
Water, rain, wind. This is the memory of that day. I remember the destroyed shoes and the soaked socks. I remember the cold that entered my bones and still the shiver on my back caused by the wind that insinuated itself under my clothes when I bent down to shoot. But I remember the sea, the infinite sea. I remember the "edges of the Earth" atmosphere. I remember the small pause between one downpour and another that allowed me to clean the lenses and shoot for a few minutes in peace. I remember the Urros de Liencres, just after Santander, in northern Spain. I remember these majestic rock formations that rose from the water, defying, motionless and unscalable, the threatening and terrifying waves. I remember the sounds made of downpours and not of horns. I remember an indescribable feeling of peace. Even in the storm.
Another perspective on the towering Urros de Liencres, in Cantabria, northern Spain. This place is truly breathtaking, and I highly recommend it. As I shot under that brooding sky, I pondered how to convey the emotions these rock giants stirred within me. Solitude, grandeur, resilience, tenacity, the Urros de Liencres stand fearless against the ever-changing moods of the sea. Unmoved by its fury, they endure, unshaken, sculpted by time and waves

📍Dubai Downtown, UAE 🇦🇪 🌍
Even though the conditions were adverse as the tiktokers were dancing and moving my tripod, I still managed to capture the sparkling sunset that enveloped Downtown from the Shangri-La hotel in Dubai. There are rare cases in which a sunset is so golden and refined and I enjoyed it from start to finish. I will always have a beautiful memory of this experience. Dubai is certainly a brilliant city and its colors, when the evening is upon us, are proof of that.
Anche se le condizioni erano avverse visto i tiktokers che ballavano muovendo il mio treppiedi, sono comunque riuscito a scattare il tramonto che scintillante avvolgeva Downtown dall'hotel Shangri-La di Dubai. Sono rari i casi in cui un tramonto sia così dorato e raffinato ed io me lo sono goduto dall'inizio alla fine. Avrò sempre un bellissimo ricordo di questa esperienza. Dubai è di certo una città brillante ed i suoi colori, quando la sera si fa alle porte, ne sono la prova.
