As soon as I passed with the photo rubber boat under this bridge I got an idea 💡.
I liked the arch and I wanted to associate it with the rooster of the powerboats (arch of the boat’s wake and the arch of the bridge)
After many attempts (boat too close, too far away, not enough wake etc etc) finally
here’s the result.

What I love most about my job is that I can always combine my style and personality with my professional duties. And this is the reason why I’ve been chosen by my clients to cover world wide events for more than 20 years. So proud of those who believe in me, and I always do my best in order to touch every special person’s heart❤️

You all know Red Bull of course. To became a Red Bull photographer I had to compete with my portfolio among all the European photographers who sent their work to the central office. I was selected with other 15 photographer. That was already a win for me. We all get invited to Cortina d’Ampezzo to cover our first event. Tube bike race. A MTB race in the bob’s iced tube. At the end of the race we all 15 discovered, that was a competition between photographers too.
It was a dream for me to discover that I was selected again between this 15. We remained 5 official Red Bull photographer.
The pics you can see here it wasn’t take with a GoPro. It was taken on slide Fuji film Velvia with a analogic Eos 3, closed into a watercase handmade, with radioremote self built.
I had only 36 shots to take a good pic. And I could not see trough the lens. I just could fire the shot when I wanted.

Here was a small setting at gate B14 in Amsterdam.

I’m still honored to have been THE ONE who took this pic solving so many technical problem and making happy so many people watching thinner point of view.
The detail makes the difference.
