"Arab Fluids" is one of our latest productions—and certainly not one of the easiest to create, as we ventured into the underground tunnels and passageways of Palermo to tell this story. Together with .gattello from , who handled the entire production, we’ve been invited to exhibit at the in London. The exhibition opens on June 26 for those in the UK, and we’ll be happy to share the video work and research with all of you in the future.

Tutto drew on Sicilian baroque traditions and updated them by revealing the complexity of the new and different cultural inputs the city of Palermo experiences today.
The project took inspiration from the specifically Palermitan case in which there’s a sincretic relationship between Christian and Hindu tamil communities. Santa rosalia, the city patron saint, and her rituals are participated by both communities.

AFTER Festival diffuso di architettura in Sicilia is the first festival of architecture in Sicily that proposes a multidisciplinary analysis of the architectural structures that has characterised the last 100 years (1922-2022) on the island.

During the 8-day festival, we will take you to 10 different cities for explorations, performances, music and talks.

Si continua purtroppo a parlare di sbarchi, di naufragi nel mediterraneo. Dall’eclatante strage del 2013 ad oggi, Lampedusa è diventata la porta d’Europa per migliaia di migranti. È diventata un’isola militarizzata.
Tra Ottobre e Novembre sono stato invitato da ad intervistare, filmare e conoscere chi ce l’ha fatta.
È stata un’esperienza densa di emozioni, rabbia, dolore, gioia, impotenza, voglia di giustizia ecc. ecc.
Forse si potrebbe riassumere il tutto con “voglia di vivere” e ciò che si è disposti a fare per cercare con tutte le forze un futuro migliore.
Domani e dopodomani vi invito a vedere il documentario “Traces left behind” sui canali internazionali della BBC.
