September 17, 2021. Harvesting dates in Behbahan, Khuzestan, south of Iran. Date is a sweet fruit which grows on a date palm, common in N Africa and W Asia. There are different kinds of dates such as Piarom, Mazafati, Gantar, Estemaran, Zahedi, Barhi, etc., which grow in southern regions of Iran. Harvest time of dates is between the end days of June and October.
