Munnar Munnar Munnar ❤️❤️

My heart goes for this place. ❤️

For its simple beauty, its mountains, its flowers and its people..

Every once in a while, Munnar gets its most magical visitor - the Kurinji alias Neelakurinji 💜🌿

The Neelakurinji (Strobilanthes kunthiana) is a little wildflower with an extraordinary rhythm. It blooms in mass only once in about 12 years, turning the high-altitude grasslands of the Western Ghats into shades of blue, violet and mauve. And then, just like that, it disappears, leaving the mountains to wait for the next bloom.

There is something incredibly beautiful about a flower that takes twelve years to say hello. 💜

Munnar Munnar Munnar.
I think I could say it a hundred more times and still not be enough. ❤️🧿🧿🧿

Watch out this space for more from this visit 🙏🏻❤️🧿

Different worlds.. One shared home!

The lights in the distance belong to us.
The leaves belong to them.
Yet somewhere between the two, life continues.

Wildlife doesn’t always get a choice between wilderness and human habitation. They adapt. They coexist. They survive.

Maybe coexistence isn’t a favour we do for wildlife.
Maybe it’s the only way forward !

Sometimes the subject isn’t the leopard. It’s the forest that made the leopard possible.

A leopard resting on a branch. A forest holding up an entire ecosystem. Protect the habitat, and everything else has a chance.

A tiger is never just a tiger.
It is the forest
the water
the prey
and every living thing that shares its home.

On International Tiger Day, let’s celebrate not just this magnificent being, but the entire ecosystem that makes its existence possible. Because every day should be a celebration of the wild. Love to all the tigers that choose to show its presence to me 🙏🏻 much love ❤️

Thank you Universe 🙏🏻

The very beautiful Green Eyed Bush Frog !

Every time we step into a forest after dark, we’re entering a world that was never built for us. The goal isn’t just to come back with a beautiful photograph, but to leave knowing the forest carried on exactly as it would have if we had never been there. That means using the least amount of light possible, diffusing our flash, relying on a low-intensity torch from a distance, and adapting our camera settings instead of overpowering the subject with light. Every choice we make behind the camera should put the animal’s well-being before the image. Because in the end, conservation isn’t measured by the photographs we bring home, but by how little our presence changed the wild.

Not every hiss is a threat. Most are simply asking to be left alone. We grow up fearing snakes, yet they have far more reason to fear us. This World Snake Day, let’s replace fear with understanding.

Happy World Snake Day ! Let’s let them live 🙏🏻
