When I was approaching slowly the pied Bushchat, my driver whispered to me that a barking deer is approaching. I was standing behind a stack of cut logs, focussing on the bird, waiting for this beautiful fella to come around the log and give a nice pose. But i couldn't contain the excitement, slightly went forward towards the edge of the stack and tried zooming out my 200-500 and this guy noticed my presence. Within a fraction of second this guy turned and disappeared into the nearby tea bushes but not before giving me this beautiful inspecting pose.

It was a beautiful trek to Meesapulimala and at the peak, in a beautiful rock outcrop, this peaceful animal is sitting down and munching the top leaves of a rhododendron tree, mindless of the surrounding. For it is his domain and probably no one can ever reach that outcrop, not even carnivores. After giving enough poses, he chose to climb down that steep rock.
