തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരു ഗ്രാമം ആണ് അന്തിക്കാട്. തൃശൂർ താലൂക്കിലെ തെക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറേ കോണിലാണ് അന്തിക്കാട് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. 10° 27' വ., 76° 80' കി. വടക്ക് മണലൂർ, എറവ്, വെളുത്തൂർ എന്നിവയും കിഴക്ക് പുള്ളും തെക്കുചാഴൂർ, കിഴക്കുമുറി എന്നിവയും പടിഞ്ഞാറ് വടക്കുമ്മുറി, പടിയം എന്നിവയുമാണ് അന്തിക്കാടിനു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ഗ്രാമങ്ങൾ. നല്ലൊരു കള്ളുചെത്തുവ്യവസായകേന്ദ്രം കൂടിയാണ് അന്തിക്കാട്. വിസ്തീർണം 7.5 ച.കി.മീ.വില്ലേജിന

്റെ കിഴക്കും വടക്കും ഭാഗങ്ങൾ പൊതുവേ ആൾപ്പാർപ്പില്ലാത്തതാണ്. മണക്കുടിക്കായൽ നികത്തിയെടുത്ത 'കോൾകൃഷി'പ്പാടങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ വ്യാപിച്ചു കിടക്കുന്നു. സമുദ്രനിരപ്പിലും താണുകിടക്കുന്ന ഈ പ്രദേശം ആണ്ടിൽ ഏഴെട്ടുമാസത്തോളവും വെള്ളത്തിനടിയിലാണ് [1]; വേനൽക്കാലത്തു വെള്ളം വറ്റിച്ചു നെൽകൃഷി ചെയ്യുന്നു. അന്തിക്കാടിന്റെ പടിഞ്ഞാറെ പകുതി നിരപ്പായ കൃഷിസ്ഥലങ്ങളാണ്. തെങ്ങിൻതോപ്പുകളും ഇരുപ്പൂനിലങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞ ഇവിടെ ജനങ്ങൾ തിങ്ങിപ്പാർക്കുന്നു.കള്ളുചെത്തും കോൾകൃഷിയുമാണ് ഇവിടത്തെ പ്രധാന തൊഴിൽ. ജനങ്ങളിൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും ഹിന്ദുക്കൾ ആണ്; ബാക്കിയുള്ളവർ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികൾ, മുസ്ളിങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയവരും. തൃശൂർ-കാഞ്ഞാണി-പെരിങ്ങോട്ടുക്കര-തൃപ്രയാർ റോഡാണ് പ്രധാന ഗതാഗതമാർഗം. അന്തിക്കാട് പഞ്ചായത്തിനെ എൻ‌.എച്ച് 17 മായി ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് മുറ്റിച്ചൂർ‌ പാലം‌ 2011 ഇൽ‌ തുറന്നു. പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ, സബ്-രജിസ്ട്രാർ ആഫീസ്, വില്ലേജ് ആഫീസ്, പഞ്ചായത്ത് ആഫീസ് തുടങ്ങിയ ഗവൺമെന്റ് സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും മറ്റു സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും ഇവിടെ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുവരുന്നു. അന്തിക്കാട് ബ്ളോക്കിന്റെ ആസ്ഥാനം വില്ലേജിനു പുറത്താണ്. ഇവിടെ ധാരാളം ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളും പള്ളികളുമുണ്ട്.
