It’s easy to say Boruto Uzumaki is only strong because of the Karma seal…
but that really doesn’t tell the full story. 👀⚡
At just 12 years old, Boruto already shows mastery over multiple chakra natures — Wind Release, Lightning Release, and Water Release. In the Naruto world, where most shinobi spend years just learning a single nature, that level of progression is already abnormal.
He also doesn’t stop at basic Rasengan usage.
Boruto has developed multiple advanced variations, including the standard Rasengan, Vanishing Rasengan, Compression Rasengan, Wind Release Rasengan, and the Super Compression Rasengan. At the same age, most shinobi are still refining basic A-rank techniques.
Even Naruto Uzumaki didn’t reach this level of Rasengan experimentation until much later in his development.
Official material also supports how far Boruto has progressed. In early assessments, he is described as having Chunin-level combat ability, and later scaling places his striking power closer to Jōnin level — something rarely seen in academy-aged shinobi.
We also see this in combat, such as his fight against Ao, where Boruto manages to hold his ground against a highly experienced former elite shinobi whose body was further enhanced.
On top of that, he has shown basic understanding of Hyūga-style taijutsu principles, despite not being a full clan member, adding another layer to his versatility.
And while his chakra reserves are still developing compared to his father, they are already considered substantial for his age — enough that he is still capable of high-level chakra training progression in the future.
So when you take everything together…
Boruto isn’t just strong because of external power.
He’s already built different on his own. 🔥
