Shooting a completely black Sloth Bear in dim, low-light conditions is one of the toughest challenges in wildlife photography. The camera sensor struggles to focus on the solid dark coat, and poor quality is always a huge risk.
But I wanted something extra special—an eye-level shot. To get this perspective, I had to drop down to the ground. In the wild, being at ground level with a bear is incredibly risky as it puts you in a highly vulnerable position for an attack. But my determination was stronger than the fear.
