Back When Weddings Felt Like 🏠
1990's weddings carried a softness that’s hard to explain now.
Animated couple portraits appearing slowly on screen, glitter borders around every frame, blurry videos, old 90s songs echoing through the speakers and somehow every bit of it still feels deeply beautiful today.
The baraat felt less like an event and more like pure happiness spilling onto the streets.
The groom entry always carried that quiet nervousness.
A soft smile, relatives constantly around him, everyone trying to make the moment feel big in their own little ways.
And then the bride entry.
People looking at her with full eyes, old romantic songs playing in the background, emotions sitting quietly on everyone’s faces without needing to be spoken out loud.
Families sitting close together on the floor, singing songs they had known for years, laughing between lyrics, clapping completely offbeat, but feeling completely together in that moment.
