Peace and Friendship Foundation JK (Trust) Organises Successful Blood Donation & Free Medical Camp at Authoora, Baramulla
Baramulla, August 12, 2026:
The Peace and Friendship Foundation JK (Trust) organised a Blood Donation and Free Medical Camp today at Authoora, Baramulla, in collaboration with the Fariyal Foundation, Blood Bank GMC Baramulla, and Directorate of AYUSH.
The camp received an overwhelming response from the local community, with 370 patients benefiting from free medical consultations and healthcare services provided during the camp.
A significant highlight of the initiative was the voluntary blood donation drive. Blood Bank, GMC Baramulla received 31 units of blood, donated generously by voluntary donors. The organisers appreciated every donor for coming forward to support patients in need and contribute towards saving precious lives.
The medical camp provided free consultations and healthcare services, including support through AYUSH, giving local residents an opportunity to access medical advice and wellness services at their doorstep.
The Peace and Friendship Foundation JK (Trust) expressed its gratitude to the medical teams, Blood Bank GMC Baramulla, Directorate of AYUSH, Fariyal Foundation, volunteers, blood donors and the local community for their valuable cooperation and support.
The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to organising more such humanitarian, healthcare and community welfare initiatives across Jammu and Kashmir.
