تحریک آزادی کی لہر چلی تو نہ صرف یہ سارے مدرسے گرادیئےگئے بلکہ پورے دِلی شہرمیں ایک بھی عالم ، طالب علم زندہ بچ نہ سکا
انگریز مورخ لکھتاھےکہ
میں نے دلی شہر اور مضافات میں 50 کلومٹر فاصلے کا چکر لگایا ایسا درخت اور شاخ نظر نہ آیا جس پر ایک عالم ، طالب علم اور تحریک آزادی کےجانثار کی لاش نہ لٹکی ہوئی ہو
،، ناداں ،، پوچھتےہیں تحریک آزادی میں علماء کا کیا کردار تھا۔
حالانکہ تحریک آزادی کے آغاز سے لیکر وطن عزیز کے قیام تک یہ علماء و صوفیاء ھی تھے جنہوں نے پوری امت کو ایک پلیٹ فارم پر اکھٹا کیا۔۔۔۔
اور اس تحریک کے آغاز میں علماء نے بے انتہا قربانیاں دیں انہیں توپوں کے سامنے باندھ کر گولے چلا کر انکے چیتھڑے اڑا دیئے گئے۔۔۔
اور ان لازوال قربانیوں کو ایک سازش کے تحت ھمیشہ قوم سے مخفی رکھا گیا۔۔۔۔
