Today 0n 16-04-2023, Ramnagar cricket club(RCC) lifted Tennis ball cricket tournament title by defeating kaghote cricket club(KCC). The tournament was organised by Progressive Youth Forum in the loving memory of founder members of Progressive Youth Forum Sh. Sunil Sharma, Sh. Shakti Singh Mankotia and Mr. Akash Bandral.
Sh. Rishpal Singh was the chief guest and Sheikh Shakeel Sr. Advocate was the guest of honour and Special guests were Sh. Suresh Singh Tehsildar Reasi, Sh.Des Raj BDC chairman Ramnagar ,Advocate Supriya ,Sh.Sudershan Singh EO Ramban, Sh. Swaran Singh Rathore, Advocate Zulkar Nain, Sh. Ravi Kant president Ramnagar Tourism Development society, Sh.Thakur Dass Retd. ZEO,Sh. Subash Kudyar, Sh. Sanjeev jandial councillor MC Ramnagar , Vaneet Gupta Forest Ranger Reasi, Ankush jyoti Inspector JKP, Shiv Dev Singh president Senior Citizen Club Ramnagar , Arfaz Ahmed Daing NSI News Reporter, Shah Nawaz,Balwinder Singh Hindustani Social activist,Kuldeep Singh SI , Vikas Slathia ,Raj Kumar Bucha ,Captain Chanchal Singh and family members of Sh. Sunil Sharma , Sh. Shakti Singh Mankotia and Mr. Akash Bandral paid floral homage to Sh. Sunil Sharma , Sh. Shakti Singh Mankotia and Mr. Akash Bandral.
The final match was inaugurated by chief guest Sh. Rishpal Singh and guest of honour Sheikh Shakeel and other dignitaries.
Toss won by kaghote cricket club and elected to bat first and scored 51 runs in 12 overs and all out. In reply , chasing the target of 52 runs to win, Ramnagar cricket club easily won the match.
The chief guest in his address,appreciated the efforts of Progressive Youth Forum and reminded the contribution of Sh. Sunil Sharma, Sh. Shakti Singh Mankotia and Mr. Akash Bandral towards progressive youth forum and towards society and congratulated the winners of the tournament and distributed trophies ,mementos and cash prizes among the players.
Earlier, chairman Progressive Youth Forum Sh. Pawan Dev Singh in his welcome address gave a brief of the tournament and welcomed all the dignitaries who were present on the occasion.
Guest of honour, Sr. Advocate said Sports occupies a vital role in our lives. It keeps us fit,healthy and makes us active. The secret to having a healthy and positive lifestyle is to have a positive mind and body. Sports is one such activity which helps us in maintaining a proper physique and a positive mentality.
The family members of Sh. Sunil Sharma , Sh. Shakti Singh Mankotia and Mr. Akash Bandral were facilitated by the chief guest, guest of honour and all the dignitaries present there.
The man of the match was adjudged to Sahil jamwal for his all round performance in todayтАЩs Match. Pankaj verma was declared as man of the series , Ajeet was declared as best bowler of the tournament, Pankaj verma was declared as best batsman of the tournament.
