Hidimba Devi Temple, Manali, Himachal
The Hidimba Devi Temple is located in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi or Hirma Devi, who is mentioned in the Mahabharata as the wife of Bhima.
According to an inscription engraved within the temple, it was built by Raja Bahadur Singh in 1553 AD. Built in the pagoda style, this temple is exceptionally beautiful. Located on a hill near the town of Manali, it is a popular destination for tourists visiting Manali. Surrounded by cedar trees, the templeโs beauty is truly breathtaking after a snowfall.
