Indian roller a.k.a 'bluejay' (Coracias benghalensis) is an acrobatic bird that gets its name from the rolling displays it puts up during the mating season.
This bird is the state bird for 4 Indian states- Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, and Telangana.
The Prussian blue wings are a sight to behold especially when the bird is putting on an aerobatic display

For all butterfly lovers and the people whom I learnt what little I know of butterflies :D

India's largest butterfly species seen in the the Western Ghats of India and even in Bangalore. A true beauty to watch in flight.
The upper side of the forewings are a rich velvety black in color and have white streaks on either side of the vein.

The eye popping yellow and red body helps indicate to predators that the butterfly is unpalatable (no, I Haven't tried).. Since it feeds it on aristolochia, it forms aristohlichic acid that leaves an unpleasant taste in the mouth of predators.
