The weather had us second-guessing our plans all weekend. 🌧️ With gloomy skies and rain, we almost stayed home. But on a last-minute whim, we headed to Lake Zurich to celebrate America’s 250th Independence anniversary. 🇺🇸✨
The fireworks were delayed by nearly an hour and a half, but once they began... WOW. Every minute of the wait was worth it. 🎆 The sky came alive with one of the most spectacular fireworks displays we’ve ever seen.
Sometimes the best memories come from the plans you almost didn’t make. ❤️
