In the forests of Rajaji National Park, a rare and touching moment unfolded.

Laila — an old leopardess who once ruled these forests and successfully raised cubs like Heera and Panna — now carries the marks of age and struggle. Time has taken its toll, and her once-powerful body shows signs of skin and health issues.

But the jungle remembers.

Her son, the bold male Heera, had brought down a sambar deer. Instead of guarding the kill fiercely, he allowed his aging mother to feed. A quiet act of tolerance in a world where survival often leaves no room for compassion.

In the wild, strength once nurtured life. And sometimes… life gives back.
