From espresso pulls to plated desserts, every frame was built around light and mood.

Soft highlights, controlled shadows, and colours that stay true to what’s served.

Good food deserves honest light.

Warm tones, controlled highlights, and frames that let the gravies, textures, and details speak for themselves.

This shoot was about keeping things simple.

Natural light, minimal styling, and compositions that let the food and coffee do the talking. Built for menus, social, and brand consistency.

Good jewellery images are built, not fixed later.

Lighting that holds detail.
Angles that respect the design.
Retouching that stays invisible.

This approach keeps the jewellery clean, consistent, and ready for real-world usage across catalogues and digital platforms.

Retouching checklist I follow for every commercial image:
1️⃣ Retouch for final usage
Edit based on where the image will be used. Campaigns, websites, and social media need natural finish, not zoom-level perfection.
2️⃣ Clean distractions first
Dust, stray hairs, lint, uneven fabric, and temporary blemishes should go before touching skin texture.
3️⃣ Preserve skin and fabric texture
Skin should look real. Fabric should feel tactile. Avoid blurring or plastic finishes.
4️⃣ Work in controlled steps
Separate colour correction, cleanup, skin work, and contrast. This keeps the edit clean and reversible.
5️⃣ Maintain consistency across the set
One over-edited image can break the entire catalogue. Match skin tones, contrast, and colour across all frames.
6️⃣ Stop before it looks edited
The best retouching is the one no one notices.

Good retouching supports the photograph.
It should never overpower it.
