Frames from our recent Snow Leopard Tour to Spiti Valley🗻🐾

Our group was lucky to see at least one snow leopard every day of the trip🙌 The trip was from 1st to 10th March 2026 which is arguably the best time to see Snow Leopards up close in Spiti Valley. Along with these elusive “gray ghosts” we also stumbled into quite a few high-altitude mammals and bird species, which made our Snow Leopard Tour a well rounded wildlife experience.

In frame:
1. Snow Leopard
2. Snow Leopard
3. Himalayan Red Fox
4. Little Owl
5. Blue Sheep
6. Black-winged Snowfinch
7. Himalayan Ibex
8. Blue-capped Redstart

I bet you haven’t seen anything like it!

Join us for our Manas Birding and Wildlife Tour on 22nd-26th January to witness such incredible species in the wild ❤️

The Bengal Floricans are a critically endangered species of bustards, which are being pushed to the brink of extinction as grasslands have been treated like a joke in India. Although grasslands house some endangered species of birds and mammals like the lesser Florican, Jerdons Courser, Great Indian Bustard and the Indian Gray wolves, they have always been overlooked as protected areas.
Often suffering from habitat destruction and farmland conversion, grasslands remain heavily exploited and vulnerable.

Let’s save our grasslands and highlight such species that truly need it

One evening we set out for our grassland safari in Bhigwan expecting nothing more than some good sightings of migratory eagles and harriers.

Not too long after our safari began, we saw a drongo tirelessly attacking something that was on the ground. Upon scanning the area through our view finders we were quick to realise that we stumbled upon an owl but it wasn’t just any owl!

The Golden Langur from Manas NP is one of the most strikingly coloured primate species found in the forests of western Assam. This endangered old-world monkey, with around 6500 individuals left, was a delight to watch in the forest. It came down to the edge of the field to munch on the wild fruit available on the trees and give us a full 10 minutes of this life to photograph and observe.
