Chandraghanta
Pindjapravararudha chandakopastrakeryuta.
Prasadam Tanute Mahay Chandraghanteti Vishruta॥
The name of the third power of Maa Durga is Chandraghanta. The worship on the third day is of utmost importance in Navratri worship; on this day, her idol is worshipped. On this day, the devotee's mind enters the 'Manipur' Chakra.
By the grace of this goddess, the devotee gets to see supernatural things. He experiences divine fragrances and hears many kinds of sounds.
This form of the Goddess is considered to be extremely peaceful and beneficial. That is why it is said that we should constantly meditate by keeping her holy form in mind. Her meditation is beneficial and saves our world and the afterlife. There is a half-moon shaped like a bell on the head of this Goddess. That is why this Goddess is called Chandraghanta. The color of her body is very bright like gold. This Goddess has ten hands. She is adorned with a sword and other weapons.

Brahmacharini

Devi Prasidatu Mayi Brahmacharinyanuttama॥
On the second day of the Navratri festival, Maa Brahmacharini is worshipped. On this day, the devotees put their minds at the feet of the mother. Brahma means penance and Charini means one who practices penance. Thus, Brahmacharini means one who practices penance.
She did severe penance to get Lord Shankar as her husband. Due to this difficult penance, this goddess was called Tapashcharini i.e. Brahmacharini.
It is said that by the grace of Maa Brahmacharini Devi, one attains all success. This form of the Goddess is worshipped on the second day of Durga Puja. The essence of the story of this Goddess is that the mind should not be disturbed even in the difficult struggles of life.

Shailaputri

वृषारुधां शूलधारां शैलपुत्रिं यशस्विनिम्॥

In her first form, Durgaji is known as ' Shailaputri ' She is the first Durga among the Navdurgaas. She was named 'Shailaputri' because she was born as a daughter in the house of Parvataraja Himalaya. She is worshipped and revered on the first day of Navratri. Her vehicle is Ta**us, therefore she is also known as Vrisharudha. This goddess holds a trident in her right hand and a lotus in her left hand. She is also known as Sati.
