A Young Male Tiger Crossing The River Patch at Paar.

Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR), originally established as Hailey National Park in 1936, is a jewel in the crown of India's wildlife conservation efforts. Located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, CTR is not only the first national park in India, but also the first to come under the Project Tiger initiative.
Renamed in honor of Jim Corbett in 1956, a hunter-turned-naturalist who played a crucial role in its establishment, the park is a living testament to conservation success.

He was calmly sitting on the opposite side of the road trying to hide from the crowd as he had just made a cattle kill in the farm lands of the local village.

Later at night he came and consumed the kill.

Mama - The Rising Sensation of Tadoba

Born as a single cub of the litter to T-7 aka Choti Tara in Jamni region of the core area this beautiful big tiger had no idea he would be living the life of an adopted cub with his elder sister from the previous litter.

Bijli the daughter of choti tara was sharing a big part of the same territory with her mother and she had her own tiny cubs as well.

After the loss of one of her cubs to a rumoured tiger Mowgli , Bijli was seen with another cub in a waterbody one day. To the surprise of many the cub looked slightly bigger than the other one. That's when people realised that choti taras cub was not being spotted with Bijli and she had taken over the role of caretaker.

Post this choti tara left the entire area to Bijli along with her cub and moved to Pp which was the territory of Maya.
Mayas territory was empty after her mysterious disappearance. Choti tara took over half the area and had cubs with Mowgli.

This is probably the first time that a female cub from the previous litter has raised the cub of her mother as if it was her own. A brilliant moment in history and it goes to show how little we know about the actual life of these tigers .

Once the cubs of choti tara and bijli started to grow bigger they were named Mama - Bhanja. They both roamed together for many months before eventually separating.

Mama made his way towards keslaghat where he now rules as it's king but Bhanja's life wasn't that kind and forgiving there are is no real information about his current whereabouts as post separation from Bijli and Mama he was said to have ventured into human settlements and later he was rumoured to have been captured by the forest dept and moved due to man animal conflicts in the area.

Life of a tiger is extremely difficult. Especially for male tigers.

Mama is now in Keslaghat and Somnath buffer area where he is raising 2 cubs along with the K Mark female.

Bhola the young male tiger who had taken over parts of Phato zone in Corbett has been lifted by the FD and taken to Dhela rescue centre.

After the fight which is rumoured to have been with Hercules, Bhola was terribly injured in his front leg paw area.

He has been limping for nearly 2 months and the dept has now decided to intervene and get him medical help.

Last night he was tranquilised at 10pm and shifted to Dhela rescue centre for his treatment.

While searching for Veera and her new cubs we came across this beautiful and bold male leopard. He walked straight towards us with great confidence before disappearing into the forest.
