ਢਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਬਾਤ ਜਿਹੀ ਪਾ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ,
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਟੁੱਟ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਕਰਾ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ।
ਇਹ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੁੱਝ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ,
ਕਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਇਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੈ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਦਾ।
ਢਾਹ ਕੇ ਢੇਰੀ ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਬੈਠ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ,
ਪਿੱਛਿਓਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਫੇਰ ਪਛਤਾਏਗੀ।
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਮਾੜੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਕਰ ਲੈ,
ਸੋ ਚੱਕ ਬੁਰਸ਼ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਰੰਗੀਨ ਕਰ ਲੈ।
