Happy World Lion Day! 🦁

This has to be one of my favourite lion photographs I’ve taken.

Growing up watching and reading The Chronicles of Narnia, I had always been fond of Aslan. And somehow, when I came across this moment in the Maasai Mara, that was the first thing that came to mind.

A magnificent lion, fast asleep in the grass, tiny wildflowers all around him, while a gentle drizzle fell over the Mara.

There was something so peaceful and almost storybook-like about the whole scene.

For a moment, it felt like I’d found Aslan. ❤️

Happy World Tiger Day. 🐅

May these little ones grow into the kings and queens of our forests.

May they inherit jungles that are safe, prey that is plentiful, and a future where their roar continues to echo for generations to come.

Every thriving cub is a reminder that conservation works, and that our responsibility to protect them is far from over.
