Here is an out-of-focus, behind-the-scenes shot of typically what happens between the nuptials and the reception at the weddings we shot together. Warren Rodrigues grabbing some refreshments (and some for me too), while the friendly strays scavenge for whatever they can find, in the midst of all the chaos that is in and out of the frame. A special thanks to all of you who made sure your photographers got fed. And to the ones who shared your booze with us at the end of your receptions. You are nice folks. I hope you procreate.
Having said that, I'm making this sticky post just to let you folks — who just stumbled on this page — know that I don't shoot weddings anymore. I've left that building, bought a one-way ticket and have left the country with the missus. So, if you do want any photography work done, you would want to contact Warren Rodrigues Photography.
For all you couples who risked it all and paid me money (during those initial days) to shoot your weddings, I'd like to say, "Thank you! You guys are great. I couldn't have got here without you". Or could I have? Hmm...
For the couples who have not yet selected your photos, as I always say, "you can take your time". Your photos are safe right now, but if I die, then you guys are doomed. But yes, take your time and get back to me whenever your kids turn 18.
If there is any pending work (hopefully not) from my end, or if you wish to say hi and want to know how none of my kids are doing, please feel free to give me a nudge on [email protected].
And with that, I'd like to officially close this chapter of my life. It was a brilliant ride. I'll continue to post photos here once in a while, just to amuse myself and hopefully amuse you guys too.
Lastly, a special thank to Sony, for making amazing earphones. If it weren't for you guys, I'd have shot myself everytime "Fireball" played at weddings.
Amen.
PS: The Xaxti guys make better food. You guys beat us North guys fair and square. But we have the bhingta beaches. So we win.
