Mohanji shares deep wisdom during breakfast in Rishikesh 🙏😂

24/04/2026

This is the temple where Mohanji prayed for the first time ever when he was 1 year old.

It is in Kochi, Kerala.

[…] I quickly clicked photos as I was told to do, and of course we all laughed, because the moment of Mohanji laughing and this man showing his toothless smile was really hilarious. This whole scene lasted about 5 minutes, and then we went back to the room.

The next morning, as I was editing the photos of that moment, I started thinking…

How odd was it that a stranger approached Mohanji to seek his blessings, and instead of blessing him like he usually does with everyone who comes to him with that intention, Mohanji joked about his toothless smile… this is so unlike him!

If I know something about Mohanji, it is that:

Mohanji doesn’t talk freely with strangers. He is very reserved and aloof with strangers.
He keeps a distance from people he doesn’t know.
He jokes only with familiar people, never with unfamiliar ones. He is a very private person with no dramas in his life.

Here, familiarity was instant and evident, although he had never met him before. It looked like this person was someone Mohanji had met many times.

So this is how my investigation started… I somehow know that this was not an ordinary moment, nor an ordinary person. When I look closer at the pictures, I can sense that there is something more to it, without being fully sure what exactly.

Who do you think this could be?

Bhagwan Nityananda?

An amsa of Nandi?

Who?…

Any guess? Mohanji wouldn’t say...🫢

Mohanji was sitting in his room busy replying to some urgent messages. He suddenly got up from his seat, quickly put his orange shawl over his shoulders, and stepped out in a hurry out of his room to go for a walk around the seva area. He never does that without a clear purpose even though he never explains it.

We rushed and went with him to walk by all the stalls and greet the volunteers of the Ugadi Seva . As we were going back, Mohanji stopped at a specific spot in front of the Ayurveda stall and spent a bit more time there, speaking with people and allowing them to approach him and seek His blessings.

All of a sudden, I heard Mohanji calling me to quickly come and take photos. As I approached, I saw a man of simple appearance standing there with the small crowd that had started gathering around Mohanji.

Mohanji was so amused that this man didn’t have any teeth. He was jokingly telling him to smile so I could take photos of his toothless smile, which for some reason was cracking him up so much!

By the way, the toothless man was guiding people not to touch Mohanji’s feet and bow down a feet away from him. Many people were coming close and this man was preventing them voluntarily from touching Mohanji’s feet.

So I quickly clicked photos as I was told to do, and of course we all laughed, because the moment of Mohanji laughing and this man showing his toothless smile was really hilarious. This whole scene lasted about 5 minutes, and then we went back to the room.

The next morning, as I was editing the photos of that moment, I started thinking…

A cute moment between Mohanji and Mahesh.
The stone which Mahesh refers to is the Paras stone. Paras stone (Philosopher’s Stone) is a stone believed to turn iron into gold upon contact.

Spiritually, it symbolizes a master, guru, or elevated being whose presence alone transforms people. ✨

The guru acts as an activator of the truth and inherent potential within oneself, rather than a teacher imparting external knowlegde ✨

While the New Year Homa was taking place at Mohanji Datta Tapovan Ganeshpuri, everyone present could witness something truly special.

Before beginning the Homa, before lighting the sacred fire meant for a blessed New Year and a new beginning, Mohanji insisted on feeding the animals first. Why?

1. Mohanji shows his love practically, through feeding, caring for, and acknowledging all beings. Animals are pure and innocent beings, often longing for love and respect rather than the abuse they experience from human beings.
Mohanji, as an embodiment of righteousness, always acts for animals.

2. He honours the Divine before anything else. In all his centres, animals are treated as gods and divine beings. It is only natural then, to honour them before beginning a sacred ritual meant for others.

3. Mohanji is completely selfless. His awareness is constantly tuned to anyone around him who may be lacking something. Within what is appropriate and possible, and according to the capacity of the one receiving, he responds to fulfil needs, heal wounds, and restore wholeness. Simply satisfying hunger is the least that can be done, and animals often seek this directly from him.

As is always the case with Mohanji, while something visible is happening, much more is taking place quietly, beyond what the eye can see.

Later on the same day, was launched, a platform under Mohanji’s guidance and a powerful, symbolic continuation of this message in action.
Listen to the message being shared, and help spread it!
We must speak, because they cannot speak for themselves! 🐾

May this be a year of restoring righteousness for ALL BEINGS, and of reconnecting humans and animals through love, respect, and responsibility instead of suffering.
