Hello from the Smallest Country in the World. ❤️

✨ VATICAN CITY ✨

Always was on the bucketlist ever since we read this in school or maybe participated in a quiz. It was always fascinating that I would once like to visit the smallest country in the world.

You can literally cover the entire country on foot. I also in a way dressed up that goes with the aesthetics of this place. Everything coloured in the same colour. 🙊

This St Peter's Basilica right behind me was really beautiful.

One more ticked off the bucketlist.

Disneyland, you are one of a kind. You made my heart feel younger, happy and excited all at once.

It was a dream to witness the Disney magic and i was so overwhelmed by the experience. Just as I said my first day in Paris was a complete let down because of my low energy, Day 2 was completely at Disneyland and i enjoyed myself to the fullest.

P.s. Disneyland Paris tickets must be bought in advance. No counter sale was available.

Hello Paris✨

But i have a backstory to share. We reached Paris after 5 days of already being in Europe. Since I had planned the entire trip, i felt overworked and overburdened (not complaining but hard truth) by all the planning. Everything felt like a responsibility and then came the fun part. Our sleep cycle was weird because we woke up at 4.30 Am, and slept at 1 am after planning for the next day.

We planned only two days in Paris. So the first day in every new city is always a failure as a tourist because you take time to understand its whereabouts. We still managed a few things but i felt really low on energy. The amount of excitement i had for Paris couldn't reflect on my face. I didn't feel like doing anything , or getting clicked.

It only goes to say, not everything goes as per what we plan or what we picture it to be. Anyway, the over trip went fine but this one day where i was going to the Eiffel tower, my health didn't allow me to enjoy the moment. 🙆

Finding Solace in Nature. ✨

We Stayed in the CountrySide of Switzerland for 2 days.

📍Feldbach, Zurich, Switzerland

It was always my dream to stay in a place that is situated somewhere right in the middle of huge grass lands and when we wake up we see the lake right in front.

Storytime-
I booked an Airbnb by just reading the description and not knowing whether it will turn out to be good. I was scared but to my surprise when we saw this place in the morning (we reached here at night, it was dark) i couldn't believe my eyes. It felt so surreal to see my dream into reality.

The lake was about 5 mins walk from the property, there were grape vineyards on the way. A nice sunrise to witness while we walk towards the bus station. The place was quiet. There was no movement. Everything was just perfect. Picture perfect.

First Cliff Walk in Grindelwald, Switzerland.

It is a cliff walking experience on a Suspension Bridge. To reach up there, there is an entry fee and a cable car ride that takes you to the top and to the start point of the suspension bridge.

• How to Reach here from Zurich

1. Take a Train from Zurich HB, main station to Interlaken OST.
2. From Interlaken OST take a cogwheel train to Grindelwald station.

Walk for about 10 minutes to reach to the ticket office.

• Price- 32 CHF per adult.

•Start and end time-

The activities start at 9 Am and end at 4.30 Pm.

This is a good experience to have. There are many activities up there like a chair flyer, mountain bike rides and they have a separate ticket.

'Lakes of Switzerland'
It is definitely a thing. This part of Switzerland makes it worth visiting.

The lakes are extremely beautiful, they are just everywhere. You don't have to try hard to find a lake here, it comes to you.

The exciting part is that every lake is different. Nature is in its full glory. So many colours are visible, that keep changing according to the weather. With a bright and clear blue sky, sitting near a lake is the best way to spend some time.

Switzerland is beautiful, but I've had similar experiences in our Kashmir and even more in Ladakh. So the mountains and tourist experience here was a bit tough for me to differentiate still i have a few experiences to share.

Certain things i like and don't like about Switzerland and something we can learn from-

1. World class transportation network- It has made transport so convenient that if you get off the train, a bus station is right in front and if you don't find bus the tram is already waiting. This makes travel easy there, especially if you are a first time visitor.

2. Very disciplined - People's self discipline here is admirable. Their traffic rules, noiseless drive, garbage disposal, importance of time, can be qualities to look up to.

3. Things i didn't like were no flexible changes for tourists in terms of check-in or baggage drop. Their check-in's are very late , either 2pm or 4pm. It wastes your entire day. This can be subjected to certain stays only, some of them are really good and accomodating. We experienced both.

4. Flushing of toilet rolls- Well we all know western countries and their washrooms. Even tho paper is recyclable and can be flushed but certain washrooms were so filled up with toilet paper and since there is hardly anyone to clean, it remains unclean most of the time. It's not just tourist but even locals do that. No proper way to dispose the toilet paper/tissues.
