It was an honour to be part of the celebration marking the 66th Anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of Benin alongside H.E. Mr. Erick Jean Marie Zinsou.

As Chair of the Indo Benin Film and Culture Forum, Dr. Sandeep Marwah was delighted to participate in this special occasion, which reflected the strong and growing friendship between India and Benin. The celebration provided a wonderful opportunity to strengthen cultural ties, encourage creative collaboration, and reaffirm our shared vision of using art, cinema, and culture to bring nations closer together.

A grand celebration marked Founders Day – 33 Glorious Years of AAFT and 10 Years of the Indo Nepal Film and Cultural Forum at Marwah Studios, Noida, on 22nd July. The event brought together distinguished dignitaries including Dr. Surendra Kumar Thapa, Chargé d’Affaires, Embassy of Nepal, Ravi Kottarakara, President, South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, Janak Deep Parajuli, Film Directors Guild of Nepal, along with the star cast of the acclaimed Nepali feature film “Gunyo Cholo.”

The occasion celebrated three decades of excellence in media education and a decade of strengthening cultural and cinematic ties between India and Nepal through meaningful collaborations, film exchanges, and people-to-people connections.
