Who knew one day common sense would become uncommon and Humanity would get departmentalised. Expressionism and Identify are fundamental to us but sometimes the ones who have the power and knowledge, first confiscate it from the masses only for it's presence to be heard of.
For once if we could let our ego rest and learn to look at the bigger picture maybe things could get better for all of us and our conscience could have space to blossom.
Still hopeful for a more compassionate and nurturing tomorrow in the middle of this stand still situation.

Home, where ironies and memories make your reality with people who have a part of your home in their hearts.

Invitation for a documentary movie on Anjali while I directed projects at Blue Diamond Society, Nepal in 2014.
Love is what we are born out of; its presence often can’t be measured or obstructed but only felt. The crazy part is that only a few of us get to see the clarity of our happiness.

Definitely we ought to choose who we are but more definitely we could stand up for who we are not.

It really is not about going against the tide but more so in the direction of what feels right for you. In such spaces, we can play a very crucial role in holding spaces for someone else. Someone just living, breathing, dreaming.

One of life’s greatest blessing for me has been the chances I got at experiencing life with people who have achieved what it means for them to be happy. I remember how she would say ‘But I am a woman and I will be the woman of my dream.'

She arrives as her usual self (.lekhi)Very bright and just very comforting. That is the first thing about her that I had noticed.
We got talking mostly around her win and the definition of beauty, it’s branches that are really just so perfectly tweaked that its starts to seem like a bonsai. How the bike accident right before her big day pained her emotionally and psychological more than physically. How she had to learn to put beauty products so she learnt how it was to be BEAUTIFUL.

She had made it and I felt very proud. Maybe we meet people who we see a part of us in, who live for us the life we wished we had lived. I had to ask her what the big plan was, she was now Miss Nepal 1st runner up. She was busy being a college girl and Miss Nepal, I wondered how that would feel especially for a girl who didn’t even know that we could find eyeshadows with and without glitter. “I want to be Nepal’s Prime Minister, hopefully the first woman also”. She said it with such ease that it sounded like a definite possibility.
