We present to you, first of its kind,
The Dark Room Improvisation Competition.✨

Date :- 6th April 2022
Time :- 12:00 p.m.
Venue :- P.G.D.A.V. College

Rules for the competition are as follows:
1. The competition would be conducted in offline mode.
2. The competition is a team event and open to students from all colleges.
3. Participants can participate in teams comprising of 2-4 people.
4. Multiple teams from the same college are allowed.
5. All the photographs should be strictly taken inside the darkroom.
6. Each team will be given a maximum of 15 minutes inside the darkroom to improvise and come up with a picture.
7. Each team would be required to bring their own tripod, flash, trigger set, etc
8. The participants are requested to bring their valid college IDs.
9. Photo Manipulation, watermarks are not allowed and only basic editing like cropping, adjusting contrasts, etc. is allowed.
10. The picture should also be enclosed with a caption.
11. Entries should be submitted in JPEG format.
12. EXIF details of the pictures should be mentioned.
13. Any kind of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
14. The photograph should be submitted through the google form provided.
15. If any participant submits a post-dated image, he/she will be disqualified on the spot.
16. Lastly, the decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Winners will receive cash prizes, E-Certificates and so much more!💰🎁✨

We present to you,
The Short Film-Making Competition🎥

Theme: Animateness

Rules for the competition are as follows:
1. The event would be conducted purely on an online basis.
2. The submission deck is to be uploaded onto Google Drive and the link is to be shared(with access permissions) through the google form provided.
3. The deck should include, Video submission of the short movie (MP4/ MKV format); Poster for the short film; Document submission with cast, crew, and a short description (400 words max.) of the submission.
2. The movie should either be in Hindi, English, or both. No other languages are permitted.
3. Photo animations, slide shows, remixes, spoofs, and advertisements should be avoided.
4. The maximum duration for the short movie submission is 10 mins. Teams will be penalized for exceeding the given time limit.
6. Up to 10 Team Members are allowed.
7. Entries from both Phones and Cameras are allowed.
9. Copyright-free music should be used in your film.
10. Stock footage or footage used that has not been shot by the college members for the particular movie must be given due credit in the film or credits. You need to submit the link of any such stock footage used at the time of submission. There is a limit of 20% on using stock footage. If any of the above rules are not followed, a penalty will be imposed in the final judging sheet.
11. Any kind of latency or plagiarism will not be entertained.
12. The decision of judges will be final and binding.

ON THE SPOT PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

Date:- 25th January
Time :- 11:00 A.M.
Venue:- Google Meet

Rules for the competition are as follows:
1. The Competition is only for the Students of P.G.D.A.V. College (Batch 2024)
2. Themes will be given on the spot via Google Meet
3. All the photographs can be taken either at your home or anywhere (as per your convenience, with proper hygiene and sanitation for your safety).
5. No watermarks are permitted and only basic editing like cropping, adjusting contrasts, etc. are allowed.
6. Every picture should be enclosed with a caption/ description. Do not forget to mention below the theme of the picture.
7. Entry/ entries should be submitted in JPEG format.
8. EXIF details of the pictures should be mentioned
9. Pictures from phones and cameras are allowed.
10. Any kind of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
