Farewell to the Queen of the Lakes....Arrowhead
With a heavy heart we bid goodbye to the legendary tigress, Arrowhead….a true embodiment of strength, resilience, and grace.
Arrowhead was not just any tigress…she was a warrior queen. She first rose to power by challenging her own mother and claiming the most coveted lakes territory in the heart of Ranthambhore and in doing so became the undisputed Queen of the Lakes.
But her story didn’t end there. In a battle far more difficult than any territorial fight, she confronted a life-threatening illness and emerged victorious. With immense strength and resilience, she survived against all odds just so she could fulfill her ultimate role, a devoted mother. She raised her cubs with unwavering courage, guiding them to independence before finally bidding her last goodbye.�
What a tigress she has been….powerful, determined, nurturing and endlessly brave. You will always be remembered, Arrowhead…not just as a queen, but as a symbol of wild spirit and survival.
Over the years, Queen Arrow has graced me with innumerable memories….memories I will cherish forever. I doubt if I will ever come across a tiger like her in my lifetime.
The lakes will seem quieter, the forest dimmer without her presence, but her spirit will forever echo in the wilderness she once ruled.
Rest in power. Rest in peace. 🐾
