These are Moore Plains on Leh-Manali Highway just before Pang. The road and the drive is so smooth. After traversing treacherous roads of Ladakh our heart wished this road should never end, we want to hold on this road, we never want to let it go... but it was just another stupid wish we had.

Same like this smooth road, we just want to hold on to comforts. So its our stubbornness... holding on a thought or a situation is self destructive, unknowingly we create misery for ourselves. The answer is in letting go... Let go all the expectations and anticipations, just go with the flow and float in the vast ocean of peace, joy and happiness.

Road to Bara-lacha La, the high mountain pass in Zanskar range after crossing the Sarchu plains on Leh-Manali highway. This mountain road is stubborn but when you reach at the pass it's so serene, a vast playground of snow. So peaceful and calm.

Same like this rugged mountain road, we just want to hold on. Its our stubbornness... holding on a thought or a situation is self destructive, unknowingly we create misery for ourselves. Mera Gaon mera desh. These are the picture of my maternal village in Western UP. This trail is leading to the mustard fields and orchards. Green and yellow all around, the aroma of musard leaves, the smell of soil, the dirt left behind footsteps, the cool breeze, that regular sound of cricket, those chirping sparrows, jumping frogs and dancing peacocks all these experiences make my village uniquely diffrent from Delhi. One can take me out of my village but can't take my village out of me.

Mera Gaon mera bhatija. This is the picture of my maternal village in Western UP. This young lad is class 8th student with big dreams in his sparkling eyes of becoming an Engineer. He is my nephew and gives me hope, hope for the bright future of India, they sometimes pedal for 8 to 9 Kilometres to reach their school and sometimes had to work in the fields with their parents, farming and studies together is not an easy combination. And here in the cities we complain about our kid is not able to learn piano or getting attention in a class of 40 kids. Though it's dusk time, when sun is setting and he is standing on a crossroad but I know hi future is bright, he is the symbol of hope and will take the right path to realize his dream and bring glory to his family. After all, we all have one life and we live for that one moment in time... for just that one moment.

This is the grandeur of Rajasthan, the mighty Mehrangarh Fort. Everything looks tiny in front of it. Like all other forts of Rajasthan this too is built on a rocky hill. It's the highest point of city of Jodhpur, a city so rich in its Rajputana culture. Rajputs are the warrior caste of Northern India and most of the rulers in Rajasthan are rajputs. Mehrangarh fort is another marvel of Rajputana architecture, it's sheer grandeur mesmerizes me. This is a digital painting.

These are the vibrant colors of Rajasthan, the other side of Sun city Jodhpur from Mehrangarh Fort. Majority of houses are painted blue. This view is from the highest point of city of Jodhpur, a city so rich in its Rajputana culture. Rajputs are the warrior caste of Northern India and most of the rulers in Rajasthan are rajputs.
