Sandhya and Aswin both work in Delhi and Bangalore respectively. They met at a party thrown by the very people they once hated– their former employers! Subsequent meetings were not face to face, but over the web. Once they’d decided to stop whining about work, they realized they went to the same college though they’d never bumped into each other.
As fate would have it, Sandhya moved from Chandigarh to Delhi and that’s when their story began. They loved each other’s company though they didn’t have much in common. Sandhya, a fun-loving Punjabi was always a bit wary of taking the next step. Aswin, a Delhi born South Indian was always in for the thrill. Then they discovered a common love: travel. They travelled all over, finding peace and solace in their adventures. They trekked, drove across the Himalayas, embraced the beauty of nature all the while developing a beautiful bond between each other.
Aswin asked Sandhya out on Valentine’s Day over the phone. She wisely says, “Yes, there was nothing romantic about that but when you know you’ve made the right decision, romance is but an author’s imagination.”
They will be married on the 21st of April, 2016 in Delhi and this time, they want to thank their former employers for helping them meet.
