First movement shot on the all-new Canon EOS R6V… and honestly, this thing moves different.
Tested it in a fast-paced experience zone at Canon Masters Conclave 2026 — low light, motion, unpredictable frames — and the autofocus locked in like it had trust issues.
The stabilization, the responsiveness, the way it handles motion blur while still keeping the subject alive in the frame… absolute cinema energy.
Safe to say: the R6V isn’t just built for photographers anymore.
This one’s for storytellers who shoot movement, emotion, chaos… and somehow still want sharp eyes.

Raadhya stayed completely in her zone through it all. No rush, no overdoing anything. Just moving through each moment as it came—the details, the rituals, the little pauses in between.

The ceremony felt close and personal. The reception flipped the energy—music up, lights on, everyone in it. And somewhere in between, everything just clicked.

I recently got to experience Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, Colombo… and I’ll say this upfront — it genuinely feels like this space was designed with Indian destination weddings in mind.

The scale is impressive — expansive, column-free ballrooms, multiple venues that transition seamlessly from day functions to night celebrations, and skyline views that add that cinematic layer every wedding film needs.

But what stood out to me wasn’t just the size — it was how thoughtfully everything comes together. The flow of spaces, the variety of dining experiences, the energy across the property… it all works in favour of a multi-day wedding.

I was also here during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Sri Lanka, and watching the level of production, styling, and ex*****on firsthand just reinforced the potential this place holds.

From pre-wedding evenings to after-parties, this isn’t just a venue you book… it’s a complete ecosystem you step into.
