For the skywatchers and astronomy buffs on this page -
You can see a penumbral lunar eclipse from India tonight. A penumbral eclipse occurs when the sun, moon and earth do not align perfectly, so that only part of the sun is blocked from the moon by the earth. You will be able to see some reddening on one side.
The eclipse will start at about 10.37 p.m. tonight and end after midnight around 2.42 a.m. on January 11. The greatest eclipse will be at 00:41 a.m, This is the first of several lunar eclipses in 2020.
