Durga Pujo 2025......The biggest festival of Bengali Hindus and one of the biggest festivals in Indian subcontinent........The Navratri is celebrated a bit differently by Bengalis....to us this time is the homecoming of the mother and her children....she comes to meet her earthly home and spend days with her mortal family (humans).....we indulge in grand festivities, food, cultural programmes....on Vijaya Dashami we bid her farewell (she leaves for her heavenly abode) and the Visarjan (immersion) marks her departure from the mortal realm, and wait for another year starts......cycle of happiness and sadness.......5 days (2025) summarised by videos I captured....শুভ বিজয়া 🙏🏽
