That was a long break! It's good to be back with my first ever photo series.
I attended my first Pride parade last year in Toronto and it was an experience like no other. Needless to say, I was excited for š³ļøāš. But then came a global pandemic forcing us to live in a time of social distancing. The good part is the birth of my very first photo series, which I call - Pride During Pandemic.
While the q***r people get ready to take part in the celebrations virtually this year, I decided to take a trip to The Gay Village (or āThe Villageā as locals call it) and clicked some pictures of the neighbourhood.
The whole idea behind this photo series is to remind that even though we canāt be there in person, itās not permanent. As they say, after every dark storm there is a bright rainbow.
Happy Pride ya'll.
Pride 2020 looks completely different. After all, we are dealing with a global pandemic. Fortunately, it's not cancelled.
