The winding streets of Old Bombay are a labyrinth of ornate Victorian architecture, each building a puzzle waiting to be solved. The grandiose domes and turrets loomed above, their designs etched with symbols and codes that held the key to a hidden knowledge. As he paces through the arched walkways of the Horniman circle to the Flora fountain, he recognizes the remains of the Tram tracks, a major public transport of the 1800s. In that moment he catches a glimpse of the tower. A lookalike of the Big Ben of London. The Mickey mouse watch now shows 0725. 5 more minutes. "Destiny awaits you, Mr. Langdon"......
Well Dan Brown hasn't exactly written this excerpt but are you already imagining this setup?! What if we could capture this essence of 'Bombay' in our pictures?
Join me on a photo walk around the old precinct of Mumbai to learn a thing or two about photography. Using photo composition rules, applying a little change to your perspective, understanding light conditions and quick editing on the go, we shall try to create our very own Photo series.
PS: Don't fret, you shall receive a booklet of all these techniques for your future reference!
Each participant shall work on their Photo series using the techniques taught during the walk, and present their set at the end of the week. And guess what? I shall be selecting a winner at the end! Annnnnnddd a surprise gift awaits for the winner!!
