Visited this beautiful house recently in Goa. A small museum set up to showcase the old architecture of Goa.

Full of greenery around, lovely vibe and a nice place to get some good clicks.

Entry was for 100 bucks, of which 50 was redeemable at their souvenir shop or cafe.

You can surely put it on your list of places to visit while in Goa.

This is Jhanda Ji (flag) which is hoisted every year after Holi festival to commemorate arrival of Sikh Guru Ram Rai Ji to Dehradun in 17th century.
With this, almost one month long fair is also organised and thousands of devotees from North India gather and participate in it.
This fair is considered to be one of the biggest fairs of North India.
Apparently Dehradun was named after Guru Ram Rai Ji established his camp (dera) on his arrival here.
I have a lot of childhood memories of this fair. We used to visit gurudwara for darshan with family every year and then used to loiter around in the fair with friends from stall to stall. Enjoying those giant swings with friends is still one of my favourite childhood memories.
If I am visiting Dehradun around Holi time, I make it a point that I pay my homage here.

Roses always present such a charming sight. And then one cannot help but bow down to take in its scent. Making you travel to dreamland even if it's for a moment.
This rose is from one of the potted plants at my home. Now and then, one or two roses bloom and you got to look at the excitement of my mom, every time there is a rose outside our window. I wouldn't have clicked this one, if her excitement had not announced about this latest beauty in our home.

This is Bhutan. You will find these colorful flags everywhere. There are five colors which are said to represent five elements of nature i.e., Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space. Sacred texts or mantras are inscribed all over them. Apart from providing a happy and vibrant sight, it is believed that with the slightest breeze these prayers flags move and create a spiritual vibration all around. That's why you will find these flags everywhere you go around the happy nation :)
