We dropped by at to experience some of their most talked about delish and comforting flavours. It’s located in Andheri, Mumbai & it boasts of spacious, warm and inviting interiors. Definitely recommend their Pesto Chicken Pizza, Avocado Sev Puri, Mutton Galouti Kebabs on Mini Naans, Chilli Lime Prawns & the Chicken Seekh Biryani.

The servers are super warm, they have one of the best bars in the city & the fact that on a weekday almost all the tables were running full which says a lot about the food & vibe this place has! A hidden gem indeed of Andheri!

The interiors celebrates the harmonious interplay of the five elemental forces - earth, wind, water, fire, and space - a perfect place to hang with family and friends!

Say hello to the “Horton Plains National Park” in It is a beautiful World Heritage Site and is spread over the two highest mountains in the area called Kirigalpotta and Totapola.

Open Hours - 6 am to 6 pm

You can see a huge plateau like structure here, along with lush green trees, surrounded by mountains.
As you trek here, lakes, waterfalls and views of the ocean will follow you along. This forest is also home to a number of wild animals and birds. This is an experience one cannot miss out on.

Must Visit When In - Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic!

This happens to be the most revered site in and it is locally known as the Sri Dalada Maligawa fondly among the locals. Every time and I have visited we have seeked blessings here, always.
Fun Fact - It was established in the 16th century AD and it is situated adjacent to the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, the shrine overlooks the vast expanse of the Kandy Lake. One can easily spend entire day here followed by lots of local shopping.

I also recommend getting a taste of the Kandyan culture through their Cultural Dance Show at the Kandy Lake Club, Red Cross Hall.
The show lasts for approximately an hour and tickets can also be bought at different batiks shop where you visit to shop.

If you enjoy trekking, I highly recommend checking out the trekking options on the Hanthana Mountain range. There are plenty of routes you can trek that lead to scenic views of Kandy and the mountain range. Our group had an adventurous time climbing but unfortunately we only made it to the half way point before turning back. Next we explored Damro Labookellie Tea centre in Nuwara Eliya. We got a tour of the tea factory and tried out some of their famous tea as well.

Say hello to the very famous “Peradeniya Gardens” located 5.5 kms from Kandy. It spans across massive 147 acres of natural space consisting of more than 4000 species of plants, and 10,000 varied kinds of trees.
The rich collection of flora and the Sri Lankan Island shaped man-made lake cannot be missed out on.
Fun Fact - This also happens to be the largest garden of Sri Lanka.

The Peradeniya Botanical Garden hands down is a prime tourist attraction of the island nation.
Be it an open air picnic or relishing the local cuisines, one will go back with a happy heart for sure!

The famous Independence Memorial Hall in Colombo holds so much significance. It was constructed to commemorate the occasion of Sri Lankan Independence from British Rule. The construction of this memorial was completed during 1953.

Baby Avo, & I have always been such big fans of as they have the best and most reasonable high quality home solutions. Be it outdoor furniture, kitchen ware, baby and kids decor, new born essentials, office decor and furniture, or designing any other space in your humble abode from the living, dining to bedroom spaces, IKEA has you covered my friend. We as a family have trusted them for years and continue to do so. Super happy that IKEA is now just a quick drive away from our place.
