Most production houses start by making films. We started by finding them.

In 2015, the Indywood Film Market named Mountain River Films Best Buyer of the Year (Nepal region). By then we'd already spent five years doing what we still do today: spotting independent films with something to say, and taking them further than anyone expected.

That same eye for a story now drives everything we produce, backed by partnerships with Prime Video, Jio and Channel 4.
