Book review 🫐🌙
I have read so many poetry books, but this one will always be special to me. It has simple yet meaningful words that you can relate to your own life. The poems are unspoken, deep, and comforting.
The title of the book itself has my heart. As a moonchild, I feel that it’s the moon that listens to us in our moments of peace. This book contains so many thoughts and feelings that we have all had at some point in our lives.
Every poem feels like a warm hug. You pause, reread, and sometimes just sit with a particular line for a while.
The poems don’t try to be overly complicated; instead, they connect through emotions that many readers will recognize in their own lives.
If you’re a beginner and want to start reading poetry, this book is absolutely for you.
If you enjoy poetry that feels personal, comforting, and thought-provoking, To the Moon That Listens is a collection worth reading.
