Not a Real snake on Nagpanchami but atleast an Impersonator.
ID: Spicebush Swallowtail Caterpillar
Spicebush Swallowtail Caterpillar shows a Batesian Mimicry. In Batesian Mimicry a harmless animal mimics an appearance of a dangerous animal. They use it as an defence mechanism so that predators would avoid them. Here we can see the Spicebush Swallowtail Caterpillar mimicking a Viper and also using two forked protrusion to mimick snake tasting the air.
