It's quite rare that a lens wows with excitement by a simple announcement, but yes sigma just did that.Some significant changes to their usual announcements and here it's a bigger game changer. Sigma has changed their entire perception within the industry by launching this lens. And yes, i was amazed to get a call from them for sharing my experiences for the new art lenses.

Basically I am passionate about wedding shoots; I love and prefer wide angle frames.

The crown of favorites - Sigma 24 mm 1.4 art lens Features:

Large aperture with wide angle lens. Autofocus with the Sigma 24mm f/1.4’s Hyper-Sonic motor is exceptionallyquick and accurate. Sharpness is outstanding in the Centre and excellent towards the edges of theframe. Completely redesigned & reengineered. Superb focal point when wide open.

For the first time i used this lens for a pre-wedding. Earlier for wide angles preference was for canon 16-35 2.8 IOS II but there was a hindrance for wide shot distortion and due to low depth, low lights and less aperture the background never seemed impressive.

And after the use of sigma 24 mm 1.4 art lens i was stunned by its feature’s because i could easily capture the image in low light conditions with a superior quality of depth and backgrounds were amazing and the most appreciable thing is its wide angle.

This lens is just magical with an excellent blur effect, good depth in images & of course nice bookeh in background.

I would surely mention, consisting aperture 1.4 i can use low lights and focusing speed is quite fast as compared to others. The filter size of this lens is 77mm which is same as canon & Nikon variant. The color & wide angle can be used in best possible manner even if we choose to click the picture being very close to the subject matter or the couple.

We can get some really amazing close-ups & creative perspective shots using this lens at a closer distance from the object.It provides excellent sharpness and crisp.

Regarding this lens I have no doubt that it will hold up every bit as good as any other premium brand lens. It has best image quality in class.

I would surely recommend wedding photographers to buy & use this lens for amazing wide angles it aims to provide high end optics and affordability in a versatile lens that offer a wider field of view. Through my experience this lens is truly perfect for pre-weddings and creative images which can be clicked during weddings.

Thank you sigma for giving me an opportunity to use the lens & review it .It was one the best experiences & quality is valuable.I appreciate sigma for the lenses they provide us with ensured features, free from imaging defects or artifacts .Sigma 24 mm art lens is a perfectionist’s choice and would be a welcome addition to any photographer’s camera bag.
