The Blue Heaven 💙(Jodhpur- The Blue City of India)

The houses in Jodhpur are painted in blue to reflect the scorching heat the city bears throughout the year. The blue color is a good reflector of sunrays thus it keeps the houses cool. Due, to this reason Jodhpur is also known as the " Blue City of India."

The first two pictures above has been shot from the hill top of Mehangarg Fort.

Further the interior of Mehrangarh Fort atop Jodhpur is as stunning as the exterior, but in a very different way. These ornate stone carvings cover several of the palaces housed inside. The amount of detail and craftsmanship is incredible, especially the very thin pieces of latticework. Quite a contrast to the brutal stone walls of the fort.

Wait for the magic!(shot on the phone)

Yesterday in the evening when it was all cloudy cold winter I managed to click this shot on my phone trying to frame the moon and star in one on top of the hills by the countryside , and zoom back all the way to show the glory of the hills. It’s all a magical feel and absolutely mind blowing to be able to shot it on my phone. Magical! All of this hand held:)

What a beautiful experience to be around such holy and religious beings. Spending time around such peaceful and giving creatures makes you rethink about yourself and your behaviour.
