“I wrote the first draft of this poem when I was in my early 20s living in London. She was one of the few people who I wanted to see the world thru. A few years later when I moved out a friend suggested I send the poem to Mother Tereza – which I did and had mentioned my address as that of my parents’ house. The amazing soul wrote back to me with a small note thanking me for the same.
Subi Samuel, the renowned photographer and I crossed paths in 2006 when I wrote a film he was producing. 2 decades of becoming family, friends who share their lives challenges, victories and stories of our amazing kids and wives who often make us better versions of ourselves, Subi and I just seem to have collaborated on this – me doing the words and prompting Suno.AI to create and perform the song, while Subi took it to another level with the visuals.
