Turning ONE is often the most important milestone that families love to celebrate. It's a great stage because babies are mobile, expressive and love to have fun ! Especially when they have a yummy cake to smash !

Cakesmash sessions are best done in the 10-11 month range when babies can be kept engaged in the setup with the cake. I often say it is the only you can do well !

Nowadays I see this dangerous trend of engaging with 'any genre' photographer to capture one's newborn moments.

The Result ?
These generic photographers are often not equipped with the right skills to handle a 15 day new baby. Incorrect handling techniques can be a safety hazard, causing injuries and infections.
The wrong choice of photographer, for just a few memories can mean disaster.

is paramount since newborns are highly delicate and susceptible to infections. Specific handling ways include...
* assessing the newborn's flexibility
* specific techniques to put baby to deep sleep
* posing baby's body parts without stress and strain
* newborn-appropriate i.e. sanitized and weight-tested props
and many more nuances.

My Suggestion:
If you DO NOT have the budget for a certified newbornphotographer, do not book a photoshoot at all. Capture some day to day moments at home.

But if you wish to preserve these lifetime memories forever. in an exclusive way - always always, book a who is trained and equipped to handle, pose and click newbornbabies in particular.

A is not just any photoshoot, it is a holistic experience - spending quality couple-time together after a baby arrives is very difficult, and hence we create a safe space for to unwind and relax (sometimes even take a nap and catch up on scarce sleep!). New Parents are often quite worried and vulnerable (naturally so), and so I always maintain a clear and compassionate communication that puts them at ease, assuring them that their bundleofjoy is in best-safe hands.

This is possible because I am a trained and certified newborn handler - I personally take over the handling of baby - calming the baby into deep sleep, swaddling in different styles, posing in baby-safe props, and of course clicking these once-in-lifetime moments - All this in our homely studio - a home away from home with comfy interiors and private space for feeding / resting.

It is no wonder that I often have parents come back for their second kids, nieces, nephews, friend's kids and so on ! New parents

Because LifeinClicks is not just about Clicks ! It's about a safe and comfortable experience for when you are unsure !
