As the sun dips low and paints the sky,
A masterpiece unfolds, a sight to imply.
In hues of orange and Pink so wide,
The world is wrapped in eventide.

It paints the world in hues so bright,
Banishing shadows with its light.
Through leaves and trees,
It weaves its dance,
A joyful, warm and life-giving trance.

Violets hide in the garden's nook,
With tender beauty in every look.
A tiny flower with a big heart's grace,
They make the world a more delicate place.

Proof of Mother Nature's Majesty 🤌🏻

09/10/2023

The wind blew so softly around,
As I sat and gazed at all,
The beauty of mother nature's wonderful grace.

The endless sea of clouds,
As they drifted on by, made me feel
Like, I was floating on cloud nine.

Then the distant building,
That just peeked amongst the clouds is
Shrouded in a fine mist of dew as the reflection of, light hid the structure from view.

My eyes could not contain its beauty,
Just to one, so I painted these words,
Just for you to know.

I hope I've done, justice to the beauty unfolding,
As I gaze upon the glory,
Held aloft unto thine own.

In my craft or sullen art,
Exercised in the still night.
When only the moon rages,
And the lovers lie abed
With all their griefs in their arms,
I labour by singing light
Not for ambition or bread
Or the strut and trade of charms
On the ivory stages
But for the common wages
Of their most secret heart.
Not for the proud man apart
From the raging moon I write
On these spindrift pages
Nor for the towering dead
With their nightingales and psalms
But for the lovers, their arms
Round the griefs of the ages,
Who pay no praise or wages
Nor heed my craft or art.

Lines on paper, stand out
The lines transform into concrete
Glass and steel find their places.
A domain is defined.

Man walks into this domain
Feelings of acceptance or refusal accompany him
A fate is decided.

The domain constructed,
Finds its fulfilment in its users
Users and activities act as one
Thus giving this domain a meaning,
A sense of being built.
But if this purpose falter
The domain degrades
Leaving a void in its place.
A pain for the creator
Irreparable to the user.

But would it not be wiser,
To include man as the lines are drawn,
To indulge him in the choices,
And thus arrive at a successful domain
Creating harmony for all?

The sea is calm tonight.
The tide is full, the moon lies fair.
Upon the straits, on the French coast the light.
Gleams and is gone, the cliffs of England stand,
Glimmering and vast, out in the tranquil bay.
Come to the window, sweet is the night-air!
Only, from the long line of spray.
Where the sea meets the moon-blanched land,
Listen! you hear the grating roar
of pebbles which the waves draw back, and fling.
At their return, up the high strand,
Begin, and cease, and then again begin,
With tremulous cadence slow, and bring
The eternal note of sadness in.
