As a student of law, the one line I was taught since day one was ,”Every human has 6 fundamental rights, one of the most important of them being Right to Freedom.” To me, freedom is a lot more than just mere words or actions. It’s a feeling, a feeling of doing what I want, and when I want to do it. Although with a lot of responsibility, freedom relates to the concept of being unchained, having nothing that stops you from doing/ being what you want to do/be.
But, above all, freedom is our choice to live together, in unity. It’s astonishing how people of all types are are independent and free to do what they wish to, and still stick together!
To me, freedom is when I can study law, yet Persue my passion, which happens to be blogging and photography. Freedom, for me, is when my parents let me have the kind of friends I want, and the kind of clothes I want. It is when I, being a girl, am allowed as much as any boy would be allowed, to go out at night and party.
I’m independent and free. That makes me who I am. That makes everyone who they are. That makes our nation, our nation; and that makes this place such an amazing place to live.
So, to celebrate the same, I put my thoughts down in art, with Cadbury Gems, to display how India is so full of diversity, yet independent, United, and Free.
