A TRIBUTE TO SIR, THE KOHINOOR OF MAHARASHTRA!

Manohar Gajanan Joshi (December 02, 1937 – February 23, 2024) a die-hard Shiv Sena loyalist and leader was the first non-Congress Chief Minister of Maharashtra when Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coalition came to power in 1995. Joshi won the Lok Sabha seat from Central Mumbai in the 1999 General Elections and went on to become the first Speaker of the Lok Sabha from 2002 to 2004 during the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) administration from Shiv Sena party. Lovingly known as Sir, he founded the Kohinoor Business School & Kohinoor-IMI School of Hospitality Management in Khandala, Maharashtra and later also became the Chancellor of Dnyaneshwar Vidyapeeth.
